Candace Wellman will be the featured local author for Indie Bookstore Day at Village Books in Lynden (Waples Room). She is the author of "Peace Weavers: Uniting the Salish Coast Through Cross-Cultural Marriages" and "Interwoven Lives: Indigenous Mothers of Salish Coast Communities."
