WSU Libraries is holding their annual Edible Book Contest in the Terrell Library ground-floor atrium. Entries must be made from edible materials and relate in some way to a book—whether through the title, characters, setting, author, or a creative play on words. Earth Day, Saturday, April 25
Jack Nisbet, the author of the WSU Press titles on naturalist David Douglas and explorer David Thompson, will be participating in Earth Fest 2026 at the Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge in Cheney, Washington, from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM on April 25, 2026. Volunteers will be participating in forestry thinning and seedling potting activities and Nisbet will speak and sign books at the end of the day.
