Meet contributors to Spirit in the Rock, which tells the story of the fierce, bloody, and unjust 1873 Modoc War. It also delves into underlying causes and secret schemes by the Applegate family and others to seize Modoc ancestral territory along what is now the California-Oregon border. The book’s setting includes Klamath County. The event will be held in the Central Library’s Microsoft Auditorium on level one.

Auditorium entrance is on the south end of the building next to the escalators – left out of the elevators.
