Jack Nisbet, award-winning author of the WSU Press titles on naturalist David Douglas and explorer David Thompson, will be participating in Earth Fest 2026 at the Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge in Cheney, Washington, from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM on April 25, 2026. Volunteers will be participating in forestry thinning and seedling potting activities and Nisbet will speak and sign books at the end of the day.
